We booked our vacation in May and were supposed to go last year, but COVID threw a wrench into those plans. My wife and I were at Disney last week and wanted to give a detailed trip report. Guess I shouldn't have upgraded so soon lol
I went back to windows 10 and the vr started to work flawlessly. Im using a ubs 3.0 oculus cable I have a 3060 ti and a ryzen 9 5900xĮdit: so I fixed the issue. Im running out of ideas and i feel like im gonna go insane. It made it say it was at 60 fps to 120 but it still doesnt feel nearly that smooth.
i used to have a problem with reprojection with it being at 50 percent but i was able to fix it with fps vr. Ive gone into my task manager and made ovr something on high priority. I've messed with the resolutions in steam vr and its super sampling. I've tried lowering resolution messing with the refresh rate on the oculus app. ill mess around in it then switch to the native beat saber on oculus and it runs so much smoother. I can especially notice this when I'm in beat saber. it also tells me my gpu usage is like 30 to 50 percent. I even downloaded fps vr and its telling me my fps is 120 even though I know its not. Ok so anytime i open steam vr from the oculus menu my fps immediately feels like stuttery.
